about me

I’m a third-year resident in obstetrics & gynecology at University of California, San Francisco. I’ll be pursuing maternal-fetal medicine, and I have a vested interest in medical anthropology and global health. Much of my work has focused on reproductive health in Lebanon, medical humanitarianism, physician advocacy, substance use in pregnancy, and global health inequalities. If you want to reach me, please feel free to email me at premkumara@obgyn.ucsf.edu.

I read the article about you in BU Today (thanks to Josie Patton’s FB post). It lead me to your blog. I am so touched by your experiences, and I am inspired by what you have done with your life since I knew you way back at Rock Bridge High School. Best wishes to you. I will keep watching for your papers and adventures.
